A moody black and white photo taken from low down, looking up a narrow alley between tall brick buildings towards a pale, overcast sky. The right-hand wall fills most of the picture: plain brickwork with a drainpipe, a small boxy wall light and a few faint scribbles of graffiti near the bottom. The four band members are grouped in the bottom of the frame. At the front in the middle is Shimara, with long locs pulled back, wearing a dark hoodie with large lettering across the front; she tilts her head right back to look up at the sky. On the left, a young man with short, swept-up hair wears a black hoodie with the GAP logo in large white capital letters. Behind him, a man with long, wavy, shoulder-length hair wears a black T-shirt with white lettering. On the right, a young man with short dark hair, wearing a grey T-shirt, looks steadily at the camera.

About Little Trees

Little Trees are a Nottinghamshire band that deliver a special brand of pop/rock that comes from the heart. The songs bounce and are instantly recognisable to a new audience. The band represent neurodivergent and disabled communities, and their songs reflect their own experiences in life. Full of joy and meaning, Little Trees are fresh and have an enthusiasm that defies the sceptics.

The band formed in 2024. They played OneFest in Mansfield in 2025 under their old name, Goflo, settled on Little Trees later that year, and came back to OneFest in 2026 under the new name. Since then they have played Lacewalks at Arc Space in Nottingham and released their first two singles, Stronger and So Now You Want Me.

Both singles got BBC Introducing airplay at the very first attempt. Dean Jackson played Stronger on BBC Introducing East Midlands on 12 September 2026, and So Now You Want Me on 15 October 2026, each the first time the band submitted it.

Little Trees have had support from Unanima Theatre Company as part of their Making a Musician project.
